Description
This post showcases advanced features of the Doosan Lynx 220LSY mill-turn, fully generated by the post processor available with Autodesk Fusion 360, HSMWorks for Solidworks, or Inventor CAM. Use of the machine's sub spindle is fully supported, including phase synchronisation enabling spindle transfer for non-round components. Part transfers include bar pulling and billeted parts, with included HSM toolpath templates and auto bar pull distance calculation. Torque skipping is also available during main to sub spindle part transfer. Part ejection with and without M98 looping is triggered with ease, and live tooling with the B-axis angle is simple. A range of Manual NC commands are supported, including turret interlock overrides. A variety of safety features for new and experienced machinists are also available, including a safe restart option to force all start codes to be posted for each section, and an option to post additional comments to clearly explain operation step by step.
